Lead Investigator, Case Manager, and Founder of SPI

Barry has over 20 years of experience in the paranormal field, and he formed this group on the founding principles of providing help to those experiencing paranormal activity by investigating all claims in a professional and confidential manner with the clients safety and best interest always in mind.
He is married and has three children.
Barry founded SPI in 2007.

Dennis Shoaf

Lead Investigator, Tech and General Manager of SPI

    Dennis is quite the multi-tasker. Not only is he only one heckuva General Manager for SPI Crew, he is also THE Mayor of Cave Spring since 2016. Dennis also served with the OKARNG from 1983 to 1988 as a Medic. He also has an MBA degree from Shorter University and a Food Science Degree from Oklahoma State University. He has also been employed with the Kellogg Company since 1987 as a line manager. He loves to fish and hunt and drink unsweetened tea, lite on the ice and has a very dry sense of humor. 
Dennis joined SPI in 2012.

Selena Tilly

Lead Investigator, Historian, and Webmaster

Selena's family has called Rome and Floyd County home since 1827 and they are listed as one of the founding families of Floyd County GA. Many older Romans still remember her  family's drug store "Tilly's Apothecary - AKA Tilly Drug Company" which operated in Rome from 1946 - 1982. Both her father and Uncle started the business after returning home from the Navy in WWII. 
Selena graduated from East Rome High School with honors, and her base studies were in biology, history, meteorology, and astronomy. She attended Coosa Valley Tech, now Georgia Northwestern Technical College, where she acquired apprentice degrees in architectural drafting, CAD(computer-aided. drafting), residential home design, residential and commercial electrical wiring, and construction.  
Selena is a local Historian, historical & genealogical researcher, and currently works as a Event Coordinator for Georgia's Rome Dept. of Tourism. She is a highly motivated mechanical, and tech-savvy professional with over 32 years experience in the administrative, and management field. She has volunteered, worked with, and served on the board of directors of over twelve different local non-profit organizations during her career. In 2012 - 2014 while conducting historical research and consulting work for The Historic DeSoto Theatre Foundation, she was asked to assist Molly Fortune from The Fox Theatre Institute on documenting the original colors and layout of the DeSoto Theatre to aid in the renovations that took place during 2012 - 2015. She continues to assist the Historic DeSoto Theatre Foundation today.
Selena brings to the team many different skills that she received from past employers including clerical, computer data entry, graphic design, photo restoration, web design, general knowledge of mechanical equipment and equipment repair, along with her high ethical standards, integrity, discipline and loyalty. 
Selena joined SPI in 2008.

Jacquline Pyles

Investigator and Researcher

Jacquline was born in 1976 at Camp  Pendleton to a large military family. She became a resident of Floyd County in 1981, where she grew up in the Johnson Community. Graduating from Model High with both College Prep and Vocational seals. She went on to study at the University of Memphis. She has a degree in Agricultural, Architecture, Civil, and Mechanical Drafting and CAD(computer-aided. drafting).
On her return to Floyd County she worked for 10 years at Wachovia Bank as A Teller Manager, until her passion for drafting lead her to the Floyd County Tax Office. From 2007-2015, she held the position of Senior Delinquent Tax Officer. This job included researching property, both land and personal, research of deeds, maps, building schematics, and blueprints. Jacquline's various degree and military upbringing has taught her to be very organized, detailed, and loyal. Thirteen years of independent research in Genealogy, property, and the humanities of death and loved ones, makes her a great asset to the team.

Michelle Brodersen

Investigator

Michelle has worked in the medical field for fourteen years. She is married and has two children. Michelle has had an interest in the paranormal since she was a small child.
